INCLEMENT  WEATHER  POLICY

DURING THE WEEK:  We will endeavor to be open during inclement weather... but conditions may require we come in later in the mornings. Please call ahead – 402-296-2832. If the Public Schools cancel evening programs, the Pastor will make the determination by 4:00 p.m. whether Confirmation will be held. He will inform parents one way or the other about Confirmation. Other day or evening activities being held are at the discretion of the leaders of those activities, and they need to inform their members of their decisions.
 

SUNDAY WORSHIP:  First Lutheran Church places a high priority on gather together for worship each weekend; we have rarely canceled worship due to inclement weather. Like the school system, will assess conditions around the church and the safety of our parking lots. If we cannot assure reasonably safe conditions for people to park, enter and exit our facilities, we will cancel services and/or postpone activities.
For Sunday mornings, a decision will be made by 9:00 p.m. on Saturday or by Sunday morning by 6:30 a.m.

MIDWEEK WORSHIP AND DINNERS:  During the year we hold special mid-week dinners and worship services; Advent and Lent dinners and worships. A decision to cancel these dinners and worship will be made by 4:00 p.m.
